Change the perspective of the rank of police. They need to be more involved. If they were more involved then they will seem more common in the neighborhood and people will feel less afraid when they are around. To show they are a good leader in the community.
Impacts to Rainier Beach:
Making the community feel safe by having more police around. Having residents have interactions with the police.
New things learned:
We need the police to feel safe and we need to trust them. We need them to not be so isolated from the community.
