Andrea Tackett
Tall, independent, with short hair, big brown eyes, and pretty white teeth. Her name is Andrea Tackett. Born on February 19, 1973 in Seattle, Washington. She was raised in the Central District on 32nd and Terrace. She lived with her mother, Belva Gaines, but also visited her grandparents on the weekends 3-4 times a month. Andrea loved her grandfather a lot; she remembers him spoiling her and has memories of him driving her around Lake washington in his drop top. She and her grandma would bake cakes and watch TV together. Andrea had a very fun childhood, playing pranks with her brother, Lawrence, and her sister, Shavonne. She did drill team and Girl Scouts.
Andrea got her first job at the age of 13 at her grandfather’s corner store, and she worked there for 4 years. Andrea attended Rainier Beach High School for all 4 years. Her only problem was that she didn’t like homework and math. Andrea had different kinds of jobs. She worked for Gray Line of seattle, Toys R Us, and the post office. They had her working the night time shift. She also worked at Target until she finally realized that she wanted to work and actually find a job she wanted to keep. She started working as a Patient Care Coordinator at Swedish, then she was promoted to her current job as a Clinic Administrator at Swedish Hospital. Andrea manages 3 clinics and she loves her job. Out of all the jobs she had, the only one she didn’t like was the post office job.
Andrea married at the age of 24 years old and had 2 kids (Rashaila, J’sean) with her husband at the time, Terry Tackett. They then separated. She got engaged again to her current fiance, Reginald Thomas. They have a baby, Joseph Thomas, who is 2 years old.
Andrea has had a nice life. She is working as a Clinic Administrator at Swedish Hospital, managing 3 clinics while she is going to school again to get a even better education. She has grown to be a mature, independent woman, as well as a mother to her 3 beautiful children.
