The Lorax (Free Movie in the Park) on 8/18
The movie was held on August 18th behind the Columbia branch Library. Kids & parents had placed their blankets on the grass to wait until the movie was going to start. Everyone got free refreshment thanks to Pepsi’s generosity.
Top 2 Highlights:
1. People smiling and little kids running around waiting for the movie to start.
2. The movie was free, drinks were free , and all of the proceeds go to help bring back the Columbia city Cinema.
Most surprising thing heard:
They were doing the free movie in the park to bring awareness to help bring back the cinema in Columbia city. So all the money that was made went to helping bring the cinema back.
